TRESemme Social Ads
Project Overview:
I was commissioned by an advertising agency to create a series of social media ads for Tresemmé, promoting their new shampoo and conditioner on TikTok and Instagram. The project involved developing two distinct ads: one using user-generated content (UGC) from influencers and another featuring high-quality model photography, with the goal of testing which approach resonated more with the target audience.
The Challenge:
The primary objective was to design ads that appealed to women in their 20s and 30s, using both high-quality branding assets and UGC content. The challenge was to strike a balance between the authentic, relatable feel of influencer content and the polished, professional look of model photography, while maintaining consistency with the Tresemmé brand.
The Solution:
To address this, I created two ad concepts. One focused on influencer-generated content, tapping into the authenticity and relatability that often drives engagement on TikTok and Instagram. The other featured polished model shots, designed to deliver a more high-end, aspirational feel. This approach allowed the brand to test audience response to both styles and determine which resonated better with their demographic. It was an enjoyable project, as it highlighted how women create and engage with content that speaks directly to them.
